Over 700 members. 12,000 subscribers. 13 partners. Nearly 50 firms are waiting. And a website that shows none of it.
That is on me.
So rather than wait for the site to catch up, let me show you the full picture now.
Here is what is already live. And then I will tell you what is coming.
What exists right now
The Surveying Room - a free community for surveyors across every discipline. Residential, commercial, QS, building surveying, geospatial, valuation, party wall, land, retrofit, energy assessment. Plus the conveyancers, DEAs, and construction professionals who work alongside them.
Over 700 members. 76% engagement rate - meaning people are not just signing up and disappearing. They are coming back, checking in, posting, contributing. That is not typical for a young community.

Two newsletters reaching over 12,000 subscribers. AI in Surveying every Monday. Surveying Matters every Friday. A podcast - This Is Surveying. A growing social audience across LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook.
A marketplace with 13 partners since January, with more joining across insurance, tech, software, and AI. . New partners include Automation Outcomes, Metrix, and Vidos - all working in the AI and automation space for the built environment.
What is coming
Firm membership. A proper firm directory with location search. A referral network between firms. A job board. Visibility built on trust, not spend. A dedicated AI in Surveying hub on Surveyors UK. One destination for everything the profession needs on AI - free tools including the AI compliance self-assessment, the GUARD Framework, webinar and workshops for firms that need to act on compliance now, the newsletters, and the podcast. The RICS Professional Standard on AI has been live since 9 March. This will be the place the profession comes to navigate it. I'm also running Intro to AI for Surveyors sessions for firms and ran one last week for Legal & General.
The ability to search for mentors and APC counsellors inside the community.
The bigger picture
All of it is independent. Not tied to any professional body, software vendor, or institution.
Community. Marketplace. Firm membership. AI. Media. Careers. Professional bodies. Public visibility.
It is set to address the real pain points in the profession - visibility, careers, recruitment, mentoring, managing a firm, business development, AI and technology, regulation and standards. Not in theory. In practice. One by one.
A profession that is less isolated, more visible, better connected, and commercially stronger. That is what I am building toward.
I am navigating a lot of change while building something to help the profession navigate its own. The vision is clear. The build is well underway. And the website is about to start telling you what it actually is.
